Gas

IES brings a substantial knowledge and capability to the Australian gas market and the gas systems in the ASEAN region.  IES has an established and detailed model of the Australian gas market optionally integrated with the electricity markets that operate in Australia. 

Examples of work undertaken within Australia include advice on future gas market dynamics and prices and the impact of proposed LNG developments on gas and electricity.  Outside of Australia, IES has undertaken reviews of potential trading opportunities in the ASEAN region and provided training in models suitable for assisting in the development of policy advice.
