Advisory Overview

Established in 1983, IES Advisory Services is a consulting practice which provides advice to government, corporate and industry clients on competitive energy markets and the dynamics of macro energy systems. 

Our services relate to the economic and technical aspects of electricity, gas and renewable energy markets as applied to energy planning, market studies, reform, policy development, economic analysis and evaluation, specifying and auditing market systems, training, strategy development and risk assessment.

In addition to the above, IES’s expertise in mathematical optimisation has had IES work in a number of fields that include coal mine operation and emerging water market design.
